The Telangana State Aviation Academy offers a 1-Year Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Category-A1) course designed for individuals passionate about working in the aviation industry. This comprehensive program includes 800 hours of training, with 156 hours dedicated to practical training at Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities. The course is structured into two semesters and is conducted by experienced trainers.
Students will gain in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, airframes, and aero engines, preparing them to appear for the modular examinations conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Upon successful completion, graduates will be well-equipped to pursue employment opportunities in airline line maintenance.
The course is open to candidates who have completed 10+2 with MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), hold a Diploma in Engineering (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), or possess a B.Tech in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The total course fee is ₹1,50,000, with additional charges for course materials and conveyance to MROs for practical training. This program provides a fast-track pathway to a rewarding career in aviation maintenance.
