Telangana State Aviation Academy (TSAA) was established in the year 1932 and is a pioneer in Training Pilots & Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. The foundation has been pronounced the best Training Academy consistently in succession for a very long time by the Aero Club of India. Telangana State Aviation Academy is a Telangana State govt. enterprise.

TSAA presently offers Drone/RPA Pilot preparation and Drone/RPA Pilot Certification. Telangana Aviation Academy is one of the few Flight Training Organizations approved by the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) to officially run Drone/RPA Pilot Training Programs and award DGCA approved Drone/RPA Certification. Drone/RPA pilot Certification is mandatory to operate a Drone/RPA as per the Govt of India regulations. Operating a Drone/RPA without certification is a serious offence punishable under the law.
